The Integrated Electromagnetic Flowmeter provides accurate, stable measurement and control of conductive liquids including water, wastewater, slurry, acids, alkalis and fluids containing impurities. Its obstruction-free measuring tube supports dependable operation with minimal pressure loss.

Electromagnetic measurement principle

Operating according to Faraday's law of electromagnetic induction, the meter generates a voltage as conductive liquid passes through its magnetic field. The signal is proportional to flow velocity and is converted into pulse, 4-20 mA or digital communication outputs for monitoring and process control.

Flexible for complex processes

Integrated, remote and insertion structures are available with multiple electrode, liner, connection and communication options. Measurement remains unaffected by normal changes in temperature, density, viscosity, concentration and electrical conductivity.

Measuring media and applications

Suitable for water, seawater, acids, alkalis, pulp, slurry and other conductive or corrosive liquids. Typical industries include petrochemical processing, steel and metallurgy, municipal water supply and drainage, irrigation, wastewater treatment, environmental monitoring, paper production, pharmaceuticals, food and beverage, and agricultural process control.
